International Travel

En Español

Welcome to the RobCo International Adventures page! Through this program, we seek to provide opportunities for students and families to experience culture and language around the world. We're excited to offer a different destination every summer, and we hope you plan to join us on our next trip!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Who is allowed to go? Is this trip just for seniors?

A: Our International Adventure trips are geared towards all SHS students and faculty and their families. Students from all grade levels are welcome to attend. We have had several parents attend with their students, too. Students from other RobCo schools can also participate!

Q: How do you decide on a destination? Do I get to pick where we go?

A: We love to have traveler input on where we travel to! Interest meetings and voting for destinations will occur 2 to 2 ½ years before a trip. For example, choosing the destination for Summer 2026 will happen during fall 2024.

We generally alternate European destinations (e.g., Paris, London, Rome) with other destinations to maximize our options while allowing families to budget according to their destination preferences. That is, we go to Europe every 2 years, with other destinations in between.

Q: Who do I contact for information?

A: Ms. Alex Neblett can be reached at Alex.Neblett@rcstn.net for any questions. You can also sign up for our mailing list to get email reminders about dates as they are released.

Additionally, students will receive information during the year about upcoming meetings on their “Class of…” Microsoft Teams group, and an announcement will be made during school. Keep your eyes and ears open!

Q: How much do these trips cost? What’s included in the price?

A: Each of our trips' cost depends on several factors, including number of days, destinations, and activities, as well as how far away from departure we are. Note that ALL trips have prices that include transportation, lodging, entrance tickets, a bilingual Tour Director, some meals, and the EF Peace of Mind protection plan. For the current price, please contact Ms. Neblett.

Q: What’s the deadline to enroll?

A: We will have meetings throughout the year for interest and enrollment assistance. Generally, the deadline to enroll is 4 months before departure. However, we recommend enrolling as early as possible to lock-in lower monthly payments.
